Welcome to Beare and Co. Where we use emotion-led marketing to attract the perfect buyer for your home, who will preserve the legacy you have created there.
We are community-led with our social media content and we attract buyer clients who are drawn to the magic that Muskoka has to offer. We are a couple of locals who love to share all of the small businesses we support on a regular basis.
The truth is, active buyers are being sent listings that match their wish list directly. Our content strategy attracts followers who are interested in the Muskoka lifestyle and might make the decision to move when they see their dream home hit our feed.
The tourist turned local story is a common one, and is exactly how Louis ended up in Huntsville.
We also know it's impossible for a Realtor to be present enough on social media to attract perfect clients. That's why we have two social media accounts under the same brand name (Beare and Co.) both run by our in house content creator, Jess. We leverage the power of the 'influencer' while keeping the Realtor separate.
Jess handles content and Louis handles Real Estate. We operate under one brand name to maximize brand recognition. We’ve also been using the same branding photos since 2020, which further creates recognition in a space designed for quick consumption. Beare and Co. is a family brand, with a connection first approach to everything we do.

Louis Beare

After graduating from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa with a degree in Kinesiology, I worked for several years as a personal trainer in Vancouver and Toronto. When the daily grind of city life became too much for me, I decided to make the move from Toronto to Muskoka.
Growing up spending summers at my family cottage at Billie Bear Resort made Huntsville the dream place for me to lay down roots. I started as a personal trainer at Fitt Gym and worked my way up to becoming the owner.
Working in a client-centred industry for over a decade has given me the ability to understand the needs of others, and the importance of creating and maintaining strong business relationships that more often than not turn into lasting friendships.
I know first hand how incredible it is to own a cottage in Muskoka, and I want to help my clients make their cottage dreams come true. I also know how life changing a move to Muskoka can be, I wouldn't trade living here for the world! I would love to help you with your move to Muskoka, while offering as much information as I can about how to make the transition to Northern life a smooth one.
I know from personal experience how incredible investing in real estate can be! I am eager to share what I have learned through personally owning a home that generates rental income, renovating a home top to bottom with re-sale in mind, and purchasing a home during the real estate boom that occurred during the pandemic.

After graduating from York University with a degree in Business, I attended Ryerson University and graduated from the Fashion Styling program. After 10 years in the corporate world, working in business administration and sales, I took the leap into entrepreneurship and opened a bookkeeping business.
Looking for a creative outlet, I entered the world of blogging and affiliate marketing. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about online marketing and social media. This led to the launch of a second business, an online marketing agency.
With my experience in business administration, bookkeeping and online marketing, it was a no brainer for me to team up with my husband Louis to bring as much value as I possibly can to Beare and Co. Real Estate.
I am thrilled to be handling many of the behind the scenes tasks that will help the business run smoothly, so Louis can focus on providing a great experience for our clients.
When I am not working alongside my wonderful husband or spending time playing with our two amazing kids, I can be found scrolling Pinterest for home decor inspiration, organizing anything and everything, rearranging furniture and decor in our home, thrift shopping, reading and enjoying all of the outdoor activities Muskoka has to offer.
